Set on forty-five acres of lush gardens, the Taj Rambagh Palace, is grandeur personified. Built in 1835, the Palace retains its splendor and extravagance, exquisitely adorned with hand-carved marble ‘jalis’ (latticework), sandstone balustrades, cupolas and ‘chhatris’ (cenotaphs), and elaborate Mughal Gardens where peacocks strut, its architecture quite uniquely Rajput.
